For Such a Time As This...

Due to the current climate surrounding Coronavirus, Mt. Carmel has decided to suspend services until further notice.

Our Senior Leadership has been prayerful, and we trust God in His guidance that this is the correct procedure for our Ministry. Our decision was not made from fear but from faith and wisdom. The demographic of our congregation puts it at greater risk for infection and possible complications that arise from exposure to the virus and we do not want to needlessly expose anyone to the possibility of contracting the virus. We would rather lead from the front than have to play catch-up from the back.

We will provide a means for remote worship and we will take this day by day to best ensure the safety of our congregation and will keep them informed accordingly.

We encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions needed to prevent the spread of germs, i.e. washing your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds using soap and warm water. Practice Social Distancing by limiting handshakes and personal contact as much as possible.

There are several rumors surrounding this event so if you have questions, please contact a medical professional, you may also go to the official government website www.cdc.gov for information as well; and if you are experiencing symptoms, please contact your Primary Care Physician.

Be sure to check on your neighbors, friends and family as changes are happening almost on a daily basis. Stay in prayer. Be assured that God is still on the throne! We love each of you.

Blessings and Peace to you all.
